How about some Korn? Here’s a divisive band. Everybody has an opinion on them; mine happens to be positive. Follow the Leader is the album that launched Korn into the MTV stratosphere. This was good and bad. It made them genre leaders but it also inspired/spawned a ton of bullshit. Follow the Leader established Korn as a generational influence a la Metallica but it was very Fred Durst-enabling. We can all agree on the Todd McFarlane artwork, right? It's not like he ever stepped on anyone's toes... Oh, right. Like I said, everybody has to decide for his or herself if Korn is or isn’t for them.
