Let's get this out of the way, upfront. I'm not engaging in any rumor-mongering concerning American Nightmare. They were forced to change their name to Give Up the Ghost, the singer's missing a hand and Fall Out Boy plagiarized them; with the root causes being the subject of much internet speculation. Use Google if you want to find out more.
The facts are that Tim Cossar (ex-Ten Yard Fight) and Wes Eisold (the apparent poet laureate of Boston) made a masterpiece album and bands have been ripping it off ever since. Background Music dragged the old school into the 21st century. This is some of the decade's best hardcore. Listen at your own risk.
